Ways you can get involved!
1. Become a member of SSFS- At this stage in our fight to protect the South Fork of the Salmon, the fish and our communities from the threat of Perpetua’s proposed mine, we need a committed membership. Although we have hundreds on our mailing list and wonderful support from many of you, we need a recorded list of members so we can refer to an actual number of people we represent when we are laying out our position in front of government bodies.
All that you need to do is email us with the statement, “I wish to be a member of SSFS” and then type your name and send it off. If you include your address we can send you one of our beautiful new stickers. We will not share your information with other organizations.
2. Consider donating to SSFS. We will continue to fight for the health and longevity of the South Fork Salmon River. Often this takes the form of legal action, public events, and informational campaigns. All this takes time, effort, and financial support. Any donation, large or small, makes a world of difference. Consider donating today!
3. Join us for our upcoming events and be ready for the next public comment opportunity. You can keep informed on our website or our social media pages.
4. Recognize and support the Nez Perce Tribe’s decades-long effort to protect the South Fork watershed.
5. Sign up to receive emails on new developments and talk to your friends and neighbors about the threats.
